TEACHERS FROM UKRAINE WILL DEVELOP DIGITAL COMPETENCIES IN THE FRAME OF THE FUTURE4REFUGEES PROJECT

In the Stryi district of Lviv region, teachers cooperating with the Municipal Institution “Centre for Professional Development of Teachers” will be trained to improve their knowledge in the field of digital education. This was agreed upon by Iryna Kyzyma, head of the centre, and Bohdana Huriy, project manager of  Future4Refugees

Within the framework of cooperation, it is planned to expand information about the project and reach out to:

  • Nearly 2,000 teachers who teach computer science or related subjects will receive information about the project.
  • Interested participants who are potentially taking part in the project.

The project plans to create an online course to help develop digital skills among young refugees and present the benefits of using digital technologies to other stakeholders.

 

The course will be created by Polish experts from the Ignatianum Foundation of the Jesuit University in Krakow and e-learning specialists from the University of West Bohemia (UWB) in Pilsen. Upon completing the training at one of the 16 municipal institutions, the Centre for the Professional Development of Teachers, Iryna Kyzyma, will share her experience with other leaders.

All participants will receive a digital badge upon completion this will allow each student to be able to check online. Participants will also receive training manuals and join the community of educators.

 

The Future4Refugees project develops knowledge in the field of modern digital technologies among forced migrants aged 15 to 18 and teachers from Ukraine.
