On December 1, 2022 an international seminar “How to support and integrate young refugees” was organized by Czech National Agency for International Education and Research, where two team members of the Future4Refugees project have been invited to share their experience. The aim of the seminar was to support and motivate youth workers to involve young refugees in their activities or use their activities as a way how to support refugees. There were about 40 youth leaders/workers who were either already working with youth (refugees or people with migrant background) or were interested to involve these groups in their activities.
Viktor Chejlava, the project coordinator, and Oksana Zamora, the project assistant, have presented the project concept, its background and main ideas. They also talked about the specifics of Ukrainian forced migrants as a group to work with, which was specifically appreciated by the participants.
